Paul Mirkovich has been a musical director, keyboardist,
singer, programmer, arranger, composer, and song writer
for over 20 years.
In the summer of 2005 Paul could be seen on CBS three
times a week in prime time as the musical director/keyboardist
for the Mark Burnett production 'RockStar INXS'.
He has toured the world extensively with major established
artists and has played live for millions.
His credits as musical director / keyboardist / vocalist
include Cher, Janet Jackson, INXS, RockStar INXS,
Anastasia, Whitesnake, and many others.
Paul
has recorded with such artists as INXS, Peter Gabriel
, Shawn Colvin, Janet, Cher,The Calling and Billy
Preston.
Paul has performed on television hundreds of times
including live HBO specials with Cher and Janet Jackson,
numerous appearances on the Tonight Show, The David
Letterman Show, Saturday Night Live, Good Morning
America, Rosie O'Donnell, & Regis and Kathy Lee.
He was also the musical director for Comic Strip Live
on Fox, a weekly live one hour comedy show, from 1988-1995.
Paul received an Emmy nomination in 2003 for best
musical direction for a live comedy/variety special
for the HBO production ,"Cher: The Farewell Tour".
He has extensive experience as a producer and studio
musician scoring for film, television, and commercial
recording, as well as album recording with major artists.
He is an established singer and vocal arranger for
commercials and album recording, having studied voice
with Roger Love in Los Angeles.
Paul received formal training in Composition / Orchestration
at the Dick Grove School of Music studying with Henry
Mancini , Lalo Schifrin ,and Claire Fischer. Accomplished
digital audio and synthesizer/drum programmer, he
has a vast expertise in the latest cutting edge technology
present in today's audio/music production.
Paul was born and raised in Los Angeles in a family
very involved in the entertainment business. One of
twelve children, with two small ones of his own ,
he is used to chaos and used to remaining calm in
the middle of craziness.
